Remodeled facility keeps siblings together at Child Haven. Funds for the renovations were raised by Focus Property Group’s Mended Hearts team, a part of the company’s Community 911 project. Through the project, employees of both Focus Property Group and LandTek were split into four teams charged with selecting a charity and then developing a philanthropic project for each organization.

Providence Info Center Nears Debut

Providence is a 1,200-acre community located at the Las Vegas Beltway and Hualapai Way. The information center will be similar to the one Focus operates in its Mountain’s Edge community in the southwestern valley. LandTek, a land development company, was retained to complete more than $50 million in infrastructure including roadways, water systems and landscaping.

More than 1,000 people joined last month's 16th annual 5k Walk/Fun Run to benefit Candlelighters for Childhood Cancer of Southern Nevada. It was the first time the event was held within the Mountain's Edge master-planned community, where the fundraiser is now permanently based. Major sponsors were Focus Property Group, developer of the community; and LandTek, a land development company.

With the opening of the information center only a few months away, $50 million in infrastructure work for the 1,200-acre Providence community is in place or nearing completion. Focus Property Group, the developer, retained LandTek to manage infrastructure projects such as water management, grading of land and roads, and sewer and storm drain improvements.
