LandTek has managed the construction of more than $100 million in drainage facilities. Our projects have included the largest storm water detention basin built to date in Nevada and over 30 miles of pipe and culvert.

Buffalo Diversion Berm
Clark County, Nevada

Completed in 2006, this $1 million project consisted of over 722,400 cubic yards of excavation and 60,000 cubic yards of soil cement.

Providence Large Arch Culvert & Box Culvert Drainage Facilities
Las Vegas, Nevada
Landtek managed the design, approval, material acquisition, permitting, construction, and turnover for a large network of underground drainage facilities within the Providence master planned community.  This included 2 miles of cast in place arched culvert, several miles of large boxed culvert, and a concrete pipe network with associated drop inlets, junction boxes, and vaults to support 10 miles of roadway infrastructure.  Construction was completed in 2007.

Duck Creek Detention Basin
Clark County, Nevada
This 200 acre regional flood control detention basin included a labyrinth spillway, inlet and outlet culverts, channels and pipes, approximately 2,178 linear feet of half-street improvements, and over 33 acres of re-vegetation.  The project cost $9 million, was completed nearly ten years ahead of its planned funding schedule by Clark County Regional Flood Water District, and is the largest privately built project of its kind in Nevada.

Regional Rush Channel
Clark County, Nevada
This mile long project required more than 350,000 square feet of concrete and was completed in 2006.

 


Mountain’s Edge Pod 111 Arch Culvert
Clark County, Nevada

Completed in 2007, this 16’x7’ arch culvert runs for 840 feet and was completed in approximately six weeks.

 


Kyle Canyon Outfall
Las Vegas, Nevada
The project included program and construction management of an outfall storm drain network for the Kyle Canyon Detention basin.  At a cost of $1.2 million approximately 2,800 linear feet of 6’x6’ and 6’x5’ RCB and other facilities were installed from the Detention Basin to the intersection of Puli Road and Grand Teton Drive. Improvements were completed in 2006.

 


Inspirada East Drainage Facilities
Henderson, Nevada
This project consists of nearly five miles of channel and one debris basin located within the Inspirada master plan community. The project cost more than $50 million dollars and was completed in 2007.
